SCRUTINY OF THE COST OF THE 2012 OLYMPICS

Early day motion 293, tabled 27 November 2006 by Anne Main (Conservative). Signed by 14 members.

That this House continues to support the 2012 London Olympic Games; celebrates the many benefits the Games will bring to the UK; reminds the Government that this House will not shy away from its obligations and responsibilities in scrutinising, analysing and commenting on its costs; and further reminds the Government that these responsibilities are not manifestations of cynicism or lack of support for the Games but the proper duties of hon. Members.
