FREE PARCELS FOR ARMED FORCES

Early day motion 2898, tabled 1 November 2006 by Derek Conway (Conservative). Signed by 115 members.

That this House, whilst recognising that the cost of sending family parcels to British armed forces personnel overseas is subsidised, recognises that the charge is still high; urges a review to reduce further that cost when troops are on active service; and requests that the Government announce free armed forces parcel mailing during the impending Christmas period.
