RURAL SUBSIDY FOR THE POST OFFICE NETWORK

Early day motion 2698, tabled 10 October 2006 by Hywel Williams (Plaid Cymru). Signed by 61 members.

That this House recognises the recent concerns of Age Concern over the Government's lack of commitment to renewing the rural sub-post office network subsidy which is intended to keep local rural sub-post offices open and so provide a variety of services, especially for older people; and calls on the Government to confirm the renewal of the rural sub-post office network subsidy.
