TROUBLE-FREE PARADES IN NORTHERN IRELAND

Early day motion 2611, tabled 19 July 2006 by Gregory Campbell (DUP). Signed by 25 members.

That this House commends efforts by all the democratic politicians, responsible community representatives and the police in achieving what has been generally recognised as a relatively peaceful parading season in Northern Ireland thus far; and calls upon all those involved in the remainder of the parades to do what they can to ensure a trouble-free environment for those who wish and those who do not wish to participate in or watch the parades.

Signatures by party: Conservative 9, Labour 8, DUP 6, Liberal Democrat 2.
