That this House wishes the England team all the very best and every success in Germany for the World Cup; is sure that the team will bring great credit to England and its footballing prowess; offers good wishes to all British based players who are taking part in the World Cup tournament for their various countries; and wishes them every success for a safe and successful tournament notwithstanding the fact that it believes that the English team have by far the best chance of winning the championship.
