DIESEL SPILLAGE

Early day motion 2276, tabled 5 June 2006 by Bill Wiggin (Conservative). Signed by 189 members.

That this House welcomes improvements to motorcyclists' safety, but regrets that little has been done to remove the dangers that diesel spills present to motorcycle and scooter users; calls on the Government to raise awareness with diesel users, vehicle manufacturers, oil companies and retailers of the dangers of diesel spills; and recognises that diesel users have a duty of care to other road users.
