DAILY TELEGRAPH POLITICAL REPORTING

Early day motion 2016, tabled 24 April 2006 by Chris Mullin (Labour). Signed by 39 members.

That this House notes with interest a recent leading article in the Daily Telegraph entitled `Labour's Corruption is Beyond Endurance', recalls that, during the premiership of Margaret Thatcher, 18 peerages and 82 knighthoods were awarded to donors who between them contributed £17.8 million to the Conservative Party; and regrets that the Daily Telegraph was unable to find space for a letter drawing this to the attention of their readers.

Signatures by party: Labour 36, Liberal Democrat 3.
