STOP CLIMATE CHAOS'S CARBON DATING EVENT

Early day motion 1748, tabled 2 March 2006 by John Hemming (Liberal Democrat). Signed by 31 members.

That this House congratulates Stop Climate Chaos for organising the Carbon Dating event on 1st March; recognises that changes in Government policy are needed to act on climate change; notes that the Government's assumption that air travel can be massively increased while reducing emissions from air travel is erroneous; and calls for plans in the Aviation White Paper for massive expansion in air travel to be rescinded.
