VACCINATING CHILDREN AGAINST TB

Early day motion 1629, tabled 13 February 2006 by Daniel Kawczynski (Conservative). Signed by 21 members.

That this House notes with concern the Government's proposals to vaccinate against tuberculosis only those children living in a high risk area; further notes that as children from low-risk areas grow up they may well move to high risk areas; considers the proposals to be short-sighted and detrimental to the future health of the population; and calls on the Government to look again at its plans on this matter.
