FUNDING FOR MENTAL HEALTH

Early day motion 1265, tabled 14 December 2005 by David Howarth (Liberal Democrat). Signed by 24 members.

That this House is concerned over the financial crisis in mental health services in Cambridge and in many other areas around the UK; notes that mental health services have been underfunded for many years; and, in light of this crisis for mental health trusts, calls for the Department of Health to review its funding formula more accurately to reflect mental health needs around England.
