ROYAL COLLEGE OF NURSING OF THE UK PENSION SCHEME

Early day motion 1253, tabled 13 December 2005 by John Smith (Labour). Signed by 29 members.

That this House notes with concern the failure of the Pensions Regulator, formerly the Occupational Regulatory Authority, and the trustees of the Royal College of Nursing of the UK Pension scheme to publish the members' updated pension scheme booklet; expresses concern that this failure is contrary to the ruling in 1999 by the Pensions Ombudsman of maladministration relating to the Pension Scheme booklet and repeated undertakings to publish the booklet; and urges the Pensions Regulator and the Royal College of Nursing to publish as a matter of urgency the revised documents for the benefits of its pension scheme members.
