GOVERNMENT PLANNING GUIDELINES

Early day motion 1161, tabled 30 November 2005 by Philip Davies (Conservative). Signed by 4 members.

That this House recognises the widespread concern about excessive and inappropriate house building; believes that planning permission for residential properties should be decided solely by local planning authorities without Government interference or guidelines; believes that regional assemblies should be abolished and therefore have no input in planning targets; and believes that there should be no right of appeal to a planning inspector for a residential development.

Signatures by party: Conservative 3, Liberal Democrat 1.
