FAIR DEAL FOR TRANSPORT IN YORKSHIRE

Early day motion 930, tabled 2 November 2005 by Robert Goodwill (Conservative). Signed by 14 members.

That this House calls on the Government to give Yorkshire a fair deal over transport; and welcomes the Yorkshire Post's campaign highlighting the fact that the region is receiving billions of pounds less than London and the South East, an unfair disparity which risks plunging Yorkshire into a hugely-damaging gridlock that could cost businesses, their employees and the communities that depend on them their livelihood.

Signatures by party: Labour 8, Conservative 3, Liberal Democrat 2, DUP 1.
