WINTER FUEL PAYMENTS

Early day motion 890, tabled 28 October 2005 by Eddie McGrady (Social Democratic and Labour Party). Signed by 20 members.

That this House calls for an increase to the basic winter fuel payment to reflect the high cost of home heating oil; and believes that the amount of £360 would be more appropriate, this being the current cost of 900 litres of heating oil.

Signatures by party: Labour 7, DUP 4, Liberal Democrat 4, Social Democratic and Labour Party 3, Plaid Cymru 1, Scottish National Party 1.
