WORK OF THE ASSETS RECOVERY AGENCY IN NORTHERN IRELAND

Early day motion 716, tabled 10 October 2005 by Gregory Campbell (DUP). Signed by 19 members.

That this House commends the ongoing work of the Assets Recovery Agency; and calls upon those involved in its work in Northern Ireland to step up their detection of Republican paramilitary groups involved in racketeering, fuel smuggling, money laundering and other apparently legitimate front businesses, as well as continuing such work against Loyalist paramilitary groups in order that law abiding people from all parts of Northern Ireland can be free from such activity.
