SAME SEX AND OTHER COUPLES AND HOUSEHOLDS

Early day motion 409, tabled 27 June 2005 by Peter Bottomley (Conservative). Signed by 12 members.

That this House believes that inheritance tax and pension benefits granted to same sex couples should not be denied to heterosexual established couples or to stable households of children or parent and child; and calls on the Chancellor of the Exchequer to be instructed by the Prime Minister to end the present unfair unjustified discrimination.
