ITV AND ANIMAL ABUSE

Early day motion 437, tabled 20 December 2004 by Lord Stratford (Labour). Signed by 40 members.

That this House regards with utter distaste the so-called Bushtucker trials devised for the inane programme I'm a Celebrity Get me Out of Here; and suggests that if ITV is considering another dose of this second-rate rubbish they devise tests which do not involve tormenting, abusing or killing mammals, reptiles and insects.

Signatures by party: Labour 24, Liberal Democrat 8, Labour/Co-operative 4, Conservative 2, Plaid Cymru 1, Scottish National Party 1.
