ROAD HUMPS IN WARSOP

Early day motion 576, tabled 24 January 2005 by Lord Mann (Labour). Signed by 8 members.

That this House notes the response to a survey on road humps held in Warsop in Bassetlaw which found that 73 per cent. support traffic calming measures but not the excessive use of road humps; believes that specific road safety measures need to be effective and acceptable to the local community and the emergency services; and further believes that concrete road humps fail on all three counts.
