GHOST SHIPS

Early day motion 41, tabled 26 November 2003 by Caroline Spelman (Conservative). Signed by 60 members.

That this House welcomes the DEFRA Select Committee's investigation into the handling of the ghost ships; expresses concern about the confusion and lack of joined-up thinking surrounding the ghost ships' arrival in Hartlepool; expresses further concern about the environmental damage these ships may pose; and calls upon the Government to fulfil its promise to return these ships as soon as practicable.
