That this House is saddened by the news of the death of Bob Stokoe, team manager of the successful 1973 FA Cup Winners, Sunderland; notes his dedication to football and the community which also included periods as manager of Blackpool, Bury, Charlton, Rochdale, Carlisle and as scout for Chelsea Football Club; and believes that sport generally and football especially should learn from and try to aspire to his unstinting contribution on and off the field.
