MR DAVID HEMPLEMAN ADAMS

Early day motion 920, tabled 26 March 2004 by James Gray (Conservative). Signed by 13 members.

That this House congratulates David Hempleman Adams of Box in Wiltshire on yet another outstanding achievement, this time exceeding the previous world record for an aerial ascent in a hot air balloon; and further notes Mr Hempleman Adams' determination to do so with the minimum of modern technology and using a traditional balloon and basket, reminiscent of the finest exploits of Englishmen through the ages.
