DISPLAY OF PORNOGRAPHIC MAGAZINES IN NEWSAGENTS

Early day motion 914, tabled 25 March 2004 by Rob Marris (Labour). Signed by 33 members.

That this House is disappointed to note that there are no laws ensuring that newsagents only display and sell adult titles from a top shelf out of reach of minors; and whilst noting that the majority of newsagents adhere to the National Federation of Retail Newsagents' Code of Practice, nevertheless urges the Government to consider introducing such a law as soon as reasonably practicable.
