FOR THE RELIEF OF GLAUCOMA (FROG) WEEK, 7th-13th JUNE 2004

Early day motion 1208, tabled 17 May 2004 by Tim Yeo (Conservative). Signed by 74 members.

That this House welcomes FROG (For the Relief of Glaucoma) Week 2004 taking place from 7th until 13th June; commends the International Glaucoma Association for organising the series of events; recognises that glaucoma is the primary cause for 12 per cent. of those registered as blind; further recognises that the majority of new glaucoma patients arise through referrals from optometrists, whose training equips them to recognise the early signs of the disease; and congratulates all those taking part in the events.
