OPERATION NOAH

Early day motion 1701, tabled 11 October 2004 by David Drew (Labour/Co-operative). Signed by 59 members.

That this House welcomes the initiation of Operation Noah by the churches, to draw attention to the threat posed by climate change; believes that this action should presage the need for the world community to take this issue far more seriously; and urges the Government to join with the churches to lobby all national governments to sign up to the Kyoto Protocol as a starting point.
