Early day motion 80, tabled 13 November 2002 by John Hayes (Conservative). Signed by 98 members.

That this House notes the widespread concern about the long-distance transportation of animals in cramped conditions; recognises the commitment of British farmers to animal welfare; notes that this important welfare issue cannot be tackled without international agreement; and calls upon the Government to work with other countries to find a proper resolution to the problem.
