MAKING THE DEATH PENALTY AVAILABLE TO COURTS IN CERTAIN CASES

Early day motion 303, tabled 5 December 2002 by Iris Robinson (DUP). Signed by 4 members.

That this House is appalled at the rise in the number of murders of children and young people under the age of 18 years; is horrified by the obscene nature of these murders; and believes that a stronger deterrent is needed; and supports making available to the courts the sanction of the death penalty in specified circumstances relating to the nature of the capital crime.

Signatures by party: DUP 4.
