THALIDOMIDE TRUST

Early day motion 284, tabled 4 December 2002 by Annabelle Ewing (Scottish National Party). Signed by 103 members.

That this House recommends the removal of tax on income payments received by beneficiaries of the Thalidomide Trust; recognises that the current system is clearly a tax on compensation payments; and further notes that the tax is unjust and adversely affects the standard of living of those in receipt of the payment.
