TIDAL ELECTRICITY(No2)

Early day motion 539, tabled 16 January 2003 by Paul Flynn (Labour). Signed by 53 members.

That this House calls for investment in tidal power generation; asserts that investment in harnessing the huge, non-polluting and inexhaustible power of the tides is the only way Britain can achieve its renewable energy targets by 2010; and emphasis that many forms of tidal power generation will uniquely help the regeneration of many Welsh, Scots and Northern English areas.
