POLITICAL FUND BALLOTS

Early day motion 485, tabled 9 January 2003 by Lord Mann (Labour). Signed by 40 members.

That this House notes that the forthcoming political fund ballots will be the third time that union members have had to ballot to maintain their political funds; acknowledges the concept of 'three strikes and you're out', and calls for legislation to ensure that no union that has balloted three times with a positive vote need re-ballot in the future.

Signatures by party: Labour 38, Labour/Co-operative 2.
