PUBLIC ENQUIRY INTO CLAUDY BOMBING

Early day motion 467, tabled 8 January 2003 by Gregory Campbell (DUP). Signed by 9 members.

That this House recognises the fact that the Saville Inquiry into events in Londonderry in January 1972 has been ongoing for several years; and demands that recent revelations by the Police regarding the bombing of the nearby village of Claudy in the same year and the alleged involvement in that atrocity by a now deceased Roman Catholic priest be the subject of a detailed public inquiry.

Signatures by party: DUP 5, UUP 3, Conservative 1.
