CONSERVATIVE MEMBERS AND LORDS REFORM

Early day motion 689, tabled 6 February 2003 by Lord Tyler (Liberal Democrat). Signed by 30 members.

That this House notes that the honourable Members for Cotswold, Old Bexley and Sidcup, Beverley, and Holderness, and Tunbridge Wells voted on 4th February for a 100 per cent. elected House of Lords, for a 60 per cent. elected House of Lords, but not for a 80 per cent. elected House, their party's official policy; and further notes that had they supported the latter the motion would have been carried.

Signatures by party: Liberal Democrat 22, Labour 8.
