LONDONDERRY
Early day motion 641, tabled 3 February 2003 by Gregory Campbell (DUP). Signed by 12 members.
That this House supports the retention of the historic and traditional name of the City of Londonderry; deplores the recent decision by the City Council to begin the process of attempting to delete the 'London' part of the name; and further calls upon the Secretary of State to resist this move given the plight of the Unionist community in Londonderry since the last Council name change in 1984.
Signatures by party: DUP 5, UUP 4, Conservative 2, Labour 1.
