CONDUCT OF THE HONOURABLE MEMBER FOR HAYES AND HARLINGTON (No. 2)
Early day motion 1322, tabled 3 June 2003 by Lord Davies of Stamford (Conservative). Signed by 55 members.
That this House notes with revulsion the statement made by the honourable Member for Hayes and Harlington praising the IRA; expresses astonishment that any honourable Member of this House should give support or comfort to the murderers of fellow citizens; affirms that violence can never be justified in support of political ends in a democracy; and hopes that on reflection the honourable Member will withdraw his words.
