CHILD TAX CREDIT DEADLINE

Early day motion 1555, tabled 8 July 2003 by John Barrett (Liberal Democrat). Signed by 50 members.

That this House notes the problems associated with the administration and take-up of tax credits; and believes that the Government should extend the 7th July deadline for claiming a full year's entitlement of child tax credit and allow the one million families who are eligible but yet to apply for this important benefit to make a claim.
