BEHAVIOUR OF ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES
Early day motion 1437, tabled 18 June 2003 by Gregory Campbell (DUP). Signed by 6 members.
That this House, noting the moves made by the Conservative Party to censure one of its councillors in Peterborough over disgraceful comments made in relation to people in Northern Ireland, calls upon honourable Members on all sides of the House to assist in ensuring that elected representatives at every level in each party know that their words and actions, whether through lack of knowledge or deliberate and wilful malice aforethought, can cause deep offence in Northern Ireland, where innocent people have suffered at the hands of terrorist violence for 34 years.
Signatures by party: DUP 3, Conservative 1, Liberal Democrat 1, UUP 1.
