LONDON AND FRINGE AREAS ALLOWANCE FOR LOCAL GOVERNMENT

Early day motion 1720, tabled 14 October 2003 by Jeremy Corbyn (Labour). Signed by 20 members.

That this House recognises the very high cost of living in London and the fringe areas; and therefore calls upon the local authority employers to respond positively and urgently to the joint claim submitted by UNISON, T&GWU and GMB in July 2001 for the very modest claim of ú4,000 across the board.

Signatures by party: Labour 17, Labour/Co-operative 2, Liberal Democrat 1.
