INQUIRY INTO THE GOVERNMENT'S PRE-WAR PLANNING
Early day motion 1678, tabled 11 September 2003 by Adam Price (Plaid Cymru). Signed by 12 members.
That this House notes with deep concern the serious lack of security on the ground in Iraq, demonstrated in particular by the high numbers of both coalition military forces and Iraqi civilians killed since the end of the conflict; and calls for an urgent broader inquiry into the apparent vacuum in the Government's planning where its pre-war assessment of the challenges of post-Saddam Iraq should have been.
Signatures by party: Labour 5, Liberal Democrat 4, Plaid Cymru 3.
