BARNARDO'S POVERTY WRECKS FUTURES SILVER SPOON CAMPAIGN

Early day motion 1922, tabled 13 November 2003 by Tom Brake (Liberal Democrat). Signed by 6 members.

That this House takes note of Barnardo's valiant efforts to highlight the scourge of child poverty that plagues almost one in three children in the United Kingdom; further notes the distressing photos used in their campaign; and hopes that the shock tactics will not detract from Barnardo's valuable work and will not cause offence to the millions of people who value Barnardo's goals.

Signatures by party: Labour 3, Conservative 1, Labour/Co-operative 1, Liberal Democrat 1.
