NAO INVESTIGATION INTO PPP FOR LONDON UNDERGROUND

Early day motion 353, tabled 5 November 2001 by Tom Brake (Liberal Democrat). Signed by 26 members.

That this House notes the considerable concern about whether PPP for London Underground represents 'value for money'; welcomes the fact that the Chairman of the Committee of Public Accounts is to discuss this matter with the Comptroller and Auditor General; and calls on the National Audit Office to investigate the 'value for money' nature of PPP before contracts are signed.
