WANDSWORTH BOROUGH NEWS

Early day motion 294, tabled 23 October 2001 by Martin Linton (Labour). Signed by 10 members.

That this House notes that the Wandsworth Borough News (1885-2001 in its current format) has been serving the people of that borough for 116 years; applauds its commitment to comprehensive news coverage and editorial balance; notes its presence at all the major South West London sports events; and sends good wishes to the young journalists who have worked on the paper despite astonishingly low wages over the years.

Signatures by party: Labour 10.
