ST ALBANS FOOTBALL CLUB

Early day motion 667, tabled 16 January 2002 by Kerry Pollard (Labour). Signed by 8 members.

That this House calls upon the Government to review the rules governing non-league football clubs where, as in the case of St Albans City Football Club, the Chairman of the Football Club can resign the chairmanship of a football club but retain control of the company which owns the club, allowing the burden of debt on the football club to increase.

Signatures by party: Labour 5, Labour/Co-operative 2, Liberal Democrat 1.
