A68 BYPASS

Early day motion 654, tabled 15 January 2002 by David Hamilton (Labour). Signed by 15 members.

That this House notes that continued delays of building the A68 Bypass are having a detrimental effect on both tourism and economic prosperity within Midlothian and the Scottish Borders; and therefore urges the Scottish Executive to make the A68 a priority, which will also assist in the redevelopment of East Midlothian.

Signatures by party: Labour 12, Liberal Democrat 2, Labour/Co-operative 1.
