PETROL PRICING AT MOTORWAY SERVICE STATIONS

Early day motion 561, tabled 12 December 2001 by Alan Keen (Labour/Co-operative). Signed by 38 members.

That this House welcomes the increasing number of motorway service stations that provide roadside notification of their current petrol prices; believes that this encourages a competitive marketplace and provides information of great value to the motorist when deciding where to fill-up on long journeys; and calls on all service station operators to adopt this practice as standard.
