Early day motion 980A1, tabled 10 June 2002 by Evan Harris (Liberal Democrat). Signed by 1 member.

leave out from 'cadavers' to end and add 'has opened at the Atlantis Gallery, Brick Lane, London, which will allow those who wish to see the details of human anatomy the opportunity to do so but which also means that those who do not wish to do so need not go; believes that the human body is not innately 'grotesque'; recognises the extensive contribution made throughout history by work such as that of Professor von Hagens to artistic, scientific and medical progress; believes in free speech and is opposed to detrimental or unnecessary censorship; and notes with satisfaction that the Government has been unable or unwilling to outlaw this form of art, science or medicine.'.
