BOVINE TUBERCULOSIS

Early day motion 1371, tabled 22 May 2002 by Bill Wiggin (Conservative). Signed by 25 members.

That this House condemns the complacent attitude of the Government to the bovine tuberculosis crisis, in particular the lack of interim plan to deal with restricted farms, the lack of testing of road killed badgers in infected hotspots outside trial areas and the lack of urgency in bringing in better diagnosis and vaccination.

Signatures by party: Conservative 17, Liberal Democrat 5, UUP 3.
