BILLBOARDS AND GENERAL ELECTIONS
Early day motion 1313, tabled 15 May 2002 by Lord Mann (Labour). Signed by 38 members.
That this House notes the pressure on political parties to raise money to fight general elections; recognises that a large amount of monies raised is spent on advertising on billboards; believes that all use of commercial billboards should be banned during general elections and the national election expenditure limit reduced accordingly.
