CARDIFF CAPITAL OF CULTURE 2008

Early day motion 1177A1, tabled 24 April 2002 by Bob Russell (Liberal Democrat). Signed by 1 member.

leave out from 'House' to end and add 'believes that the City of Cardiff bid to become European Capital of Culture 2008 should withdraw the promotional video which includes the orchestra of the Welsh Opera, because it shows musicians whose employment has since been terminated, and thus the video being used in support of the bid gives a false impression of the Welsh National Opera's musical complement.'.
