HMS MONTROSE

Early day motion 1574, tabled 5 July 2002 by Michael Weir (Scottish National Party). Signed by 7 members.

That this House welcomes the decision to award the Freedom of Angus to the Commanding Officer and Ship's Company of HMS Montrose; notes that as a serving vessel for the Royal Navy that wherever in the world she is called she proudly carries the name of Montrose; and concludes that the ship is a superb ambassador not only for the people of Montrose but also the whole of Angus.
