POLITICAL FUND BALLOTS

Early day motion 1549, tabled 3 July 2002 by Lord Mann (Labour). Signed by 28 members.

That this House notes that the forthcoming political fund ballots will be the third time that union members have had to ballot to maintain their political funds; acknowledges the concept of three strikes and you're out; and calls for legislation to ensure that no union who has balloted three times with a positive vote need to re-ballot in the future.

Signatures by party: Labour 25, Labour/Co-operative 3.
