REFORMING THE LAW ON PARK HOMES

Early day motion 1837, tabled 30 October 2002 by Hilton Dawson (Labour). Signed by 42 members.

That this House welcomes the publication of the Government Report on the economics of park homes; notes that this completes a process of review which began with the establishment of the park homes working party in 1998; applauds the acknowledgement by Government that 'a minority of residents suffer or feel they could suffer at the hands of rogue operators who flout loopholes in existing legislation'; and urges that good intentions to strengthen the legal framework of park homes living are realised within the forthcoming Queen's Speech.

Signatures by party: Labour 32, Labour/Co-operative 4, Liberal Democrat 4, Conservative 2.
